BlueSLRBring a clear package brief to the rental desk.

Build one shared equipment list

Use the same request for each rental house. Mark essential models and acceptable alternatives. Include lenses, media and readers, batteries and chargers, support, and monitoring, then ask the rental desk to identify gaps.

Check what the total covers

Compare rental periods, equipment quantities, prep, delivery, deposits, and any separately quoted charges. Ask how changes to dates or package contents affect the quote rather than extrapolating from a published daily rate.

Resolve substitutions before commitment

Have the rental desk confirm compatibility and availability for the final list. Discuss what happens if an item becomes unavailable and who approves a substitute. A prepared brief is the start of that conversation, not a reservation.

Prepare for the rental desk's paperwork process

Ask about account setup, insurance documentation, authorized collection, and timing early.
